Padel Festival – A great success!
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st 2024
To celebrate the 2nd birthday of Broxbourne Padel and reaching well over 300 members, we held a festival of padel at Broxbourne Sports Club. Members particicipated in masterclasses and Americano Tournaments. We were delighted to welcome many new faces to try out padel for the first time. And we were all treated to some fantastic exhibition matches. Special mentions to:
- Tracy Llewellyn and Nick Emery – winners of Saturday’s advanced Americano
- Wendy Webb and Jake Myles – winners of Sunday morning’s intermediate Americano
- Kotomi Ozawa, Michael Gradon and Bjorn Schroder who entertained us with their skills in Saturday’s exhibition match
- Plucky Broxbourne players Zoe Mellis and Jim Marshall who took on the coaches in Sunday’s exhibition match
- Coaches Davide Sorcinelli and Owen Watkins who ran the masterclasses
- And above all, James Rose from Game 4 Padel who provided heaps of energy and enthusiasm over the whole weekend to help everyone enjoy their padel experience.
