Broxbourne Sports Club was honoured to host a charity padel tournament on Sunday 14th June in aid of Herts Young Homeless. 36 contestants played in 3 fun Americano format competitions. The weather was perfect, everyone played hard and enjoyed themselves and the event raised well over £1,000 from entry fees, raffle, sweepstake, cake sale and donations. Well done to James Shand for brilliant organisation and thank you to everyone who took part and gave so generously. Thank you also to the club and to Game 4 Padel for supporting the event.

Katie Rolfe from the fundraising team at Herts Young Homeless joined us for the morning and met the players. Afterwards Katie said:

This incredible donation will directly help young people facing homelessness in Hertfordshire and ensure that more young people have the support they need to build brighter futures.
